The Capital Region Reign Softball Program is a competitive travel softball organization based out of Colonie, NY. The organization formed in the fall of 2012, as a single 16u team composing mostly of players from Colonie. The Reign organization is headed by founder William Mochrie, who himself was an accomplished Men's softball player, competing at the state, regional, and national level and known as one of the best defensive third basemen in the area. Fast forward 9 years, the Reign organization is still going strong, led by William, carrying as many as five teams in a season, with players from the Catskills up to the Adirondacks.
